Jacob Goettler

Jacob Goettler is a Shanghai-based designer, engineer and inventor whose career has been shaped by solving complex product-development challenges. For more than two decades in China, he has worked where design intent, engineering detail and manufacturing reality meet—taking ideas from early concepts through prototypes, supplier development and production launch.Jacob Goettler（中文名：高杰波）常驻上海，是一名设计师、工程师和发明人，长期专注于解决复杂的产品开发难题。二十余年来，他始终扎根中国制造一线，在设计意图、工程细节与制造现实的交汇处工作，推动项目从早期构想、原型验证和供应商开发走向量产上市。

His work spans furniture and consumer products, including standard ranges and special projects for international companies such as Herman Miller and Haworth. Along the way, Jacob has contributed to more than 30 invention, utility-model and design patents, particularly in height-adjustable workplace products, and helped develop Karma Essence, recipient of the 2022 iF Design Award.他的经验横跨家具与消费品领域，曾为 Herman Miller、Haworth 等国际企业开发标准产品系列和特殊项目。Jacob 已参与研发并获得 30 多项发明、实用新型及外观设计专利，尤其专注于升降办公产品，并参与开发荣获 2022 年 iF 设计奖的 Karma Essence。
